The 'Maa Bharati Ke Sapoot' web platform was officially launched today at the National War Memorial Complex in Delhi, with Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra in attendance. The event's honorable defense minister, Sh. Rajnath Singh served as the chief guest.

With his outstanding portrayal of Captain Vikram Batra in the movie Shershaah, Sidharth Malhotra enthralled the world. He discussed his recent experience portraying Captain Vikram Batra's journey on television and his memories of growing up in an army household. He expressed his opinion that our freedom and democracy are enjoyed because the Indian Armed Forces are the best in the world.

Sidharth Malhotra discussed the significance of this government-sponsored program and urged every Indian to help the families of our soldiers who were murdered or gravely injured while performing their duties during military operations.

Sidharth most recently shared his flick Shershaah. The actor reacted, "I mean, watching Captain Vikram Batra and his family be happy and proud was the most emotional and the thing that I was frightened about and give me their compliments after seeing the film," when asked what the most pleasing thing that came out of Shershaah in the rapid-fire portion.

The film Shershaah, directed by Vishnu Vardhan and based on Captain Vikram Batra's life, is a tale of bravery, love, and sacrifice (PVC). The movie acknowledges and commends his courage and priceless sacrifice during the 1999 Kargil War. Captain Batra's heroic efforts and ultimate sacrifice, which were in keeping with his codename of "Shershaah," were crucial to India's victory.
