During a picture shoot with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in 1993, Sanjay Dutt told her not to go into films and to keep modelling instead. He was worried about how it would affect her beauty and innocence. At the time, Aishwarya was already a famous model, and a Pepsi ad is how Sanjay found out about her. In an interview, Sanjay talked about how beautiful Aishwarya is and said that even his sisters liked her. Take A Look At the post by mirchi90s:

During the interview, Sanjay Dutt talked about how the glamour business can change a person. He said that it could make a person grow up and lose their innocence and natural beauty. He talked about the cutthroat competition and the pressure to always be better than others, which can make people lose sight of their best traits. Sanjay also talked about how success and failure in the industry can change quickly, and how people only care about you when you're doing well, but leave you when you're not.

Aishwarya Rai agreed with Sanjay's point of view, recognising that the industry could make people more hardened. She said she got offers from the movie business, but she didn't want to jump into movies just because that was the next step after modelling. She turned down the chance to start her career in 'Raja Hindustani'. Instead, she chose to start her career in 1997 with Mani Ratnam's 'Iruvar.' In the same year, she made her first Hindi movie, 'Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya,' with Bobby Deol.
