Garnering accolades for his recent role in 'OMG 2' alongside Akshay Kumar, Pankaj delved into his past in a candid talk with Mashable India. Reflecting on his portrayal of a death scene in Agneepath, opposite Hrithik Roshan, Pankaj shared a poignant detail. "In that scene, since he had to stab me 3-4 times, I held my breath because I didn't know how a person felt when he is stabbed," Pankaj revealed. He further shared that a keen eye would catch the telltale sign of his commitment, his eyes being fully red during the scene.
In a surprising twist, his devotion went to such lengths that he actually fainted during one of the takes. "I remember in the second or third take, I fainted and fell," Pankaj recalled, as he divulged the intensity of the moment. The extended breath-holding inadvertently led to a blackout, resulting in him collapsing. The set was soon surrounded by concerned crew members who rushed to his help.
