Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one of the most well-known Indian directors who seeks out the ideal shot for every production. According to many, the director never accepts anything less than what he had envisioned. You won't believe what Sharad Kelkar, an actor, recently recounted about SBL's fastidious demeanour while filming the Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh movie Ram Leela.

The famed Romeo and Juliet love story served as an inspiration for Ram Leela. Richa Chadha, Gulshan Devaiah, Supriya Pathak, and other actors appeared in the movie in addition to DeepVeer. The movie, which was released in 2012, was well-liked by the audience, and its soundtrack won them over as well.

Ram Leela took years to complete, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali made sure the sets were stunning. The famous cast, their language, and their clothes were only some of the extravagances the director added to the production. Sharad Kelkar, who portrayed Kanji in the romantic drama, recently discussed the director's pursuit of flawless images, saying that when he saw a dia (light) was not lit in the backdrop, he ordered 1000 dancers to perform another take.

When discussing Sanjay Leela Bhansali's art, Sharad Kelkar stated in an interview, "Mr. Bhansali's universe was absolutely different, it was a complete stunner. However, the experience was different. I could see how much it was loved. He won't go until he is confident that he can carry out or display what he has imagined in his mind on film. "I still remember there was this one shot with full dancing, there were thousands of people on the set, and the song sequence was playing," he said. However, a long way back, there was one dia (light) that was unlit.

A typical director would not give a damn if there were 50 additional lamps, the actor stated, praising Sanjay Leela Bhansali's commitment to the art of filmmaking. The entire photo was fine, but he added one extra thing. The dia is not lighted there; go light it, he replied. I could see that he was really political about his work and that he paid attention to even the smallest aspects of filming.

Although Kelkar declined to say which song SBL had the 1000 dancers repeat, it must have included Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in it.
