Shahid Kapoor is one of the most followed Indian celebrities on Instagram. The actor regularly treats fans and followers with stylish pictures from photoshoots as well as candid ones featuring his wife Mira, mother Neelima Azeem and his brother Ishaan Khatter. While the world swoons over the handsome actor and his photogenic features, Shahid's wife Mira finds his Instagram feed plain and boring.
Speaking about his Mira's influence on his social media activities, Shahid says, "She has been pulling my leg for the last couple of years ‘Shahid, your social media game is so bad, it sucks, you are so boring’ We were pretty much living in Punjab throughout the Covid lockdowns. The ambience there was very different, I was in a different headspace. The minute I came to Mumbai , which was two months back, it was in my head ‘sweet revenge is coming Mira’."
The Ishq Vishk (2003) actor further reveals that he is conscious about sharing photos with his daughter Mira and son Zain. He has deliberately avoided sharing too many pictures on social media because he's protective. "We consciously don’t post pictures of our kids. There’s just one pic of Zain that I have put out, literally since he was born, maybe two," the 41-year-old actor said.
On the work front, Shahid recently starred in the sports drama Jersey (2022), a remake of the Telugu film of the same name. The storyline revolved around a former cricketer who wants to make a comeback in his late 30s. Production and release of the film was delayed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Though the film couldn't do wonders at the box office, Shahid was praised by critics for his performance.
Kapoor will next star in Ali Abbas Zafar's action film Bloody Daddy and in Farzi, a crime drama series from Raj & DK for Amazon Prime Video.
