Shahid Kapoor hails KGF star Yash as the top actor in the Indian film industry right now
This year's blockbuster KGF Chapter 2 starring Kannada actor Yash broke numerous records. While the sequel's plot was favourably accepted, the Rocking Star's portrayal of the character onscreen was praised highly by both the audience and numerous influential figures from other cinema industries.
A Bollywood star has praised Yash and called him the "number one" actor in the Indian film industry, despite the popularity of Rocky Bhai still being high. On the recent episode of Koffee with Karan, none other than actor Shahid Kapoor made such a statement. Currently, Yash fans are thrilled about it.
Shahid recently joined Kiara Advani, his co-star from the film Kabir Singh, on the celebrity talk show. The two were asked a number of questions by host Karan Johar. But when the actor was questioned by the director, "Who according to you is the number one actor/actress in Bollywood?"
"Number one actress," Shahid said, pointing towards Kiara. On the other hand, he said regarding the top actor, "Number one actor we can discuss. Right now I think it is Rocky Bhai." "Rocky Bhai! Oh yes, Yash from KGF, Yes," Karan replied to which Kiara also agreed.
Fans of Rocky Bhai thanked Shahid in the meantime. Unquestionably, Yash and Rocky Bhai have generated buzz since KGF Chapter 1's (2019) tremendous triumph.
It's interesting to note that Kapoor's most recent film, Jersey, was meant to clash at the box office with KGF: Chapter 2. However, as the release date drew nearer, Jersey's producers delayed it by a week.
