Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are among the most popular on-screen couples in the movie business. They worked together for the first time on the 2007 Bollywood film Om Shanti Om. The two actors then appeared together in Happy New Year and Chennai Express. Since then, fans have been impatiently awaiting Deepika and SRK to work together on a movie. Now, they will be reuniting for Siddharth Anand's much-anticipated film, Pathaan, which also has John Abraham in a significant role.
As Om Shanti Om is scheduled to get a rerelease today, fans may now see SRK and Deepika again on screen before Pathaan's theatrical release. More than 20 locations will have it on screen, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Patna, Bhopal, and Ahmedabad. SRK Universe, SRK's fan group, came up with the concept for the special screening of Om Shanti Om. The movie Om Shanti Om was a huge success. Farah Khan, who was directing her second picture, was in charge of the project.
Shah Rukh recently gave Deepika his heartfelt congratulations on her "15 amazing years" in Bollywood. He shared their images from Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, and Pathaan on social media and his congratulations to her. SKR captioned: “To 15 fabulous years of excellence… perseverance…amazing performances with you and the warm hugs!! Here’s looking at you…Looking at you. and looking at you…and still looking at you… deepikapadukone”
In the meantime, Pathaan is slated for release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu theatres on January 25, 2023. The teaser was recently released on SRK's 57th birthday. It is made by Aditya Chopra's production company, Yash Raj Films. The movie is an action-entertainment piece.
