Shantanu Mukherjee, better known by his stage name Shaan. He has contributed significantly throughout time to the Indian music industry. For many years, he has been using his voice to enchant people, and he has received praise from all around the world. The singer's Eid greeting to his followers is currently making news.
On Saturday, the musician posted a picture of himself wearing a skull cap on Instagram. ‘Eid Mubarak to You and Your Family,’ he said in the caption of his photo. Though he is Hindu, the comments section on his post quickly filled up with angry and harsh criticism of him for wishing Eid Mubarak. He received criticism for wearing Muslim clothing while not being a member of the faith.

The singer disabled the comments after facing backlash for the post. Soon after, Shaan posted a video and respectfully responded, stating that he had grown up being taught to respect all religions equally. Additionally, he stated that the image came from his three-year-old 'Karam Karde' music video.
He Wrote, “Usme ye Look Tha .. toh socha it goes with the occasion .. bas itni si baat.”
The singer added that he participates in all festivals and urged listeners to share his belief. For those who are unaware, Shaan started out singing jingles for commercials. He has acted in the movie 'Daman: A Victim of Marital Violence,' which also stars Raveena Tandon, in addition to singing. Additionally, he has judged many talent competitions.
