‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ filmmakers have released melodic songs of the film on a regular basis. ‘Pasoori Nu’, a version of a popular Pakistani ballad, is the album's most recent addition. Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani feature in the song together in which they profess their love for one another.

‘Pasoori Nu’ was performed by Arijit Singh, who was criticized by the audience. When fans learned that Arijit will perform the Indian version of the song before it was released, they expressed their dismay.

After Pasoori Nu was released, people were enthralled by the song and the Arijit Singh rendition. However, after receiving criticism from all sides, the incredible vocalist explained why he decided to reproduce the well-known song.

The singer's motivation for accepting the song for the Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ is revealed in a trending tweet from his unverified account. The singer allegedly consented to donate to a good cause.

He was asked by a fan why he didn't turn down the opportunity to become a well-known singer. The reply from the account was, "Well, The Maker has promised me a yearly fund for a school for the underprivileged that’s more important thode gaali kha lenge." The artist reportedly struck an agreement with the producers to help a foundation for disadvantaged school children while being open to criticism.

He also emphasized the realities of the industry for musicians and the reasons why they consent to such agreements. Music enthusiasts won’t want to see someone dragging down an artist, he claimed, and it is all propaganda. "Industry makes and breaks an artist according to their convenience," he continued. We argue because they demand it.
