Satish Kaushik, a veteran actor, director, and writer died on March 8, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving behind a legacy of remarkable films that will live on in perpetuity. Satish Kaushik gained recognition for his characters such as Calendar (‘Mr. India’) and Pappu Pager (‘Deewana Masana’), among others. On March 8, 2008, he passed away because of a major heart attack in Gurugram. Kaushik's last rites were done in Mumbai's Versova crematorium. Among those who paid a visit to Kaushik's home in Bombay were Javed Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, Satish Shah, Rakesh Bedi, Johny Lever, Annu Kapoor, and Anu Malik. Bollywood celebs such as Salman Khan, David Dhawan, Shilpa Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Rakhi Sawant, Ranbir Kapoor, Anu Malik, Pankaj Tripathi, Abbas Mustan, Tusshar Kapoor, and many others paid their condolences to the late filmmaker.
Abhishek Bachchan was seen hugging Anupam Kher, who was closest to Kaushik. After his autopsy in Delhi, the actor's body was flown to Mumbai. According to the initial reports, no injuries were discovered on the actor's body. According to authorities, the cause of death was heart arrest. The iconic actor is survived by his wife and 10-year-old daughter.
