Malhotra revealed that she used to be very hard on herself and constantly criticize her work. Even when people liked her performance in films like 'Badhaai Ho', she would focus on the things she didn't do right. However, she has become more relaxed over time and has learned to accept her imperfections.

Malhotra said that therapy and listening to how other actors deal with imposter syndrome have helped her a lot. She also mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan's interviews have been particularly helpful.

Malhotra also talked about her experience of shifting to Mumbai from Delhi. She said that there were people who told her it would take 10-15 years to make it in Bollywood, but she never doubted herself. She believed in her dream and journey, and it paid off when she was cast in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Dangal' within a year of moving to Mumbai.
