Salman Khan gives a shoutout to Shah Rukh Khan at IIFA 2022; says, ‘Humara Pathaan aur humaara Jawan tayyiar hai’
Shah Rukh Khan is set to return to the silver screen with back-to-back thrilling projects after a four-year hiatus from the industry. The actor recently unveiled the teaser for his first project with ace filmmaker Atlee, named Jawan, after giving us a glimpse of Pathaan and formally confirming Dunki.
Netizens were ecstatic to see SRK in a fierce avatar in the suspenseful trailer. Salman Khan, the actor's close friend and fellow superstar, also shared the teaser on his social media to show his support.
The Tiger 3 actor is currently in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for the 22nd IIFA Awards, which he attended last night. He co-hosted the star-studded event with Riteish Deshmukh and Maniesh Paul this year and had a blast entertaining the crowd.
He also mentioned SRK, who chose not to attend this year's event. Salman was quoted saying in a viral video from the awards show, “Mere peeche ek aadmi hai. Aur uska naam hai Shah Rukh Khan. Aur yeh kab se mere peeche hai. Kab se!”
He continued hilariously, “Kyunki kya hai naa ki, Mannat ki joh building hai woh Galaxy (apartments) ke peeche hai. Agar uss taraf se dekhoge, Worli down side, toh woh bohot aage hai. Humara Pathaan aur humara Jawan tayyiar hai,” said Khan before he sat down.
On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in Tiger 3.
