Nawazuddin Siddiqui says he is jealous of filmmaker Rishab Shetty before clarifying that he does not base negative Jealousy. Whereas the actor and filmmaker respond to the statement and explain what it means and what was his agenda by passing such statements. Rishab is over the moon about his successful film, 'Kantara,' in which he directed and acted. Initially, the film was released in Kannada, soaring at the ticket windows. The film got so much popularity, and word-of-mouth boosted its business that it got released in other dubbed languages, including Hindi.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's statement on getting jealous of Rishab:-

Rishab and Nawaz were speaking at one event. At the same time, Nawaz said, "The entire country saw Rishab and was shocked. He did not promote it or anything. He slipped in quietly and broke all impressed one and all. If someone does good work, a sense of Jealousy (crops in) and at the same time, the urge to compete inspires."

The reporter made sure of him by letting him know he has used the word Jealousy. At the same time, he has added to the word, "Of course jealousy. It happens because he is doing such good work. It is not that (negative) kind of Jealousy, but it makes you stand on your toes even if I have to work hard."

Rishab Replies to Nawzuddin Siddiqui's statement:-

Rishab responded to the appreciation and love shown by Nawazuddin: "I have watched so many of Nawaz bhai's movies and watched his journey filled with hard work and effort. He is like us, we are middle-class people with no background, but we want to come into the industry and make it big. He is a very big inspiration. He has come from theatre and done many small roles (before making it big). Even we had done such small roles in Kannada cinema before we got our big break. He is our senior, and we have the same journey."

Rishab mentioned that even though his film Kantara got successful nationwide, he insists he wants to continue making films in Kannada and has no plans of moving to Bollywood. The film is currently streaming on Prime Video in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada and on Netflix in Hindi.
