Renowned choreographer Ganesh Acharya charged with stalking, voyeurism and sexual harassment

Renowned Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya has found himself in yet another legal soup. He has been booked under sections 354A (sexual harassment), 354C (voyeurism), 354D (stalking) along with other sections pertaining to causing hurt, insulting the modesty of a woman, criminal intimidation, according to Oshiwara police.

As per a report, a complaint was filed in 2020 by a choreographer who worked with Acharya. In her complaint, she alleged that he had sexually harassed her after she turned down his advances. When she mustered up courage and spoke up against Acharya’s activities in 2020, she was assaulted by the choreographer’s assistants. Acharya has denied the allegations.

Acharya has been working in the industry for several years now and has delivered some of the most popular songs over the years. His latest hit song is Allu Arjun and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s “Oo Antava” from Pushpa: The Rise (2021).
