Raveena Tandon’s dad Ravi Tandon dies at 85; actor writes, ‘I’m never letting go’
Ravi Tandon, Raveena Tandon's father, passed away on Friday at the age of 85. He died of respiratory failure owing to lung fibrosis. Tandon passed away at 3.45 a.m. at his home.
Raveena used her Instagram account to pay tribute to her father with a poignant message. She wrote, "You will always walk with me, I will always be you, I'm never letting go," as she shared photos with him, including one from her youth. "I adore you, papa."
Ravi Tandon was active during the 1970s-1980s. A director, producer and writer, he has helmed films like Anhonee, Khel Khel Mein, Majboor, Khuddar, Zindagi among others.
Raveena has given us insights into her family life on several occasions. She uploaded a photo of her parents celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary in May 2021. "It's been 55 beautiful years, and there's still more to come! They are the source of my motivation, faith, and belief in love and companionship for a lifetime together.
In the description, Raveena wrote, "Happy 55th wedding anniversary and 62 years (+ 7 years courting) of knowing and loving each other through everything.”
