Raveena Tandon on the success of pan-India films: Wants the media to call us Indian film industry
Raveena Tandon is one of the most talented and brilliant actresses of our industry. From winning a national award to working in 67 plus movies, the actress has had a wonderful journey in the film industry.
The Mohra actress made a thrilling comeback to films with the most successful film of 2022 KGF: Chapter 2. In an interview, the actress was seen talking about KGF 2 and how it revived Indian cinema. She also shared that she wants the media to call us the Indian film industry which is a great deal.
When asked about pan-Indian films, the Andaz Apna Apna actress said, “I second that. This copycat trend of adding ‘-wood ’ to every industry is like giving it a bad nickname. It’s pathetic and brain-numbing. I would want the media to call us the Indian film industry. It’s a great feeling that pan-India films are changing it for us. It’s the integration of every industry now and that’s beautiful.”
Raveena also shared her special moment while shooting the film. She mentioned how Yash would help them understand instructions given in Kannada.
Meanwhile, Raveena Tandon has a great line up starting with the sequel of her trending web series Aryanak. She also has another film with Sanjay Dutt titled as Ghudchadi which is directed by Binoy Gandhi. The movie will be streaming on Amazon Prime video.
