Ranveer Singh is one of the most prominent leading males in Bollywood. He took the internet by storm when he shared images from a photo shoot on his social media. The shoot had the actor pose in the nude for a renowned magazine. The post went viral in minutes. An FIR has been filed by an NGO that stated Ranveer has hurt the sentiments of women and insulted their modesty.

On 22nd August, Ranveer was summoned to appear before the police. Due to work commitments, he was unable to do so. Recently the Mumbai police recorded the actor's statement in connection to the FIR. A source close to the police revealed that in the statement Ranveer said he had not uploaded the controversial photos. He added further that he did not realise the images would create such trouble.

On the work front, Ranveer will soon star alongside Alia Bhatt again for the upcoming film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ which also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. The film is slated to release on the 10th of February, 2023. Following this, he will be seen in the Rohit Shetty directorial ‘Cirkus’ alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde and Varun Sharma. He also has a Hindi remake of the Tamil original ‘Anniyan’ in the works.
