After a four-year break, Ranbir Kapoor will finally grace the silver screen with ‘Shamshera’. Ranbir Kapoor is set to star opposite Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in ‘Shamshera’ which will release in theatres on 22nd July this year.
In a recent interview, the actor spoke about how he separated work and affection, given that he has grown up in a filmy family. “For me, when I work, I prefer working and not socialising, so I like to be detached. It is very important for any profession to keep the friendship and work separately. I have seen it myself, I have seen it with my father, that actors do film for their friends and that only breaks the friendship. It is very important to differentiate friendship and work” said Ranbir.
The film ‘Shamshera’ is directed by Karan Malhotra. Later, Ranbir will star in Dharma Productions’ mythological fantasy drama, ‘Brahmastra’, directed by Ayan Mukerji and co-starring his wife Alia Bhatt. The film will also star Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
