Team ‘Brahmastra’ are busy promoting the film. The team includes the filmmaker and the leads, Ayaan Mukerji, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The film ‘Brahmastra’ is the first part of a trilogy that has created its own universe. Recently the trio were on their way to visit the Mahakaleshwar temple. Unfortunately, the team was met with protestors at the site and they created a huge commotion.

New plan of action

The local police had to intervene and they brought the situation under control. According to reports, Ranbir and Alia were not able to make it to the Aarti in the temple due to security reasons. Director Ayan Mukerji on the other hand went to the temple and was able to seek blessings.

About the film

Brahmastra has created much anticipation with the audience. It has been a long film in the making with ten years put into it. After filming and delays that spanned over several years, the film will release on the 9th of September. The team is busy promoting the film. The cast also includes Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. The film will hit theatres in two days, fans can not wait.

What next in the Astreverse universe

According to a source after the release and hopefully a successful release of the first part. The team has plans for the sequel. "The makers have locked Deepika Padukone to play the character of Parvati. In fact, Deepika will also make a cameo towards the end of Brahmastra, which will eventually take the film into the second part," revealed a source close to the development. The source further shared that Deepika has already shot a sequence for ‘Brahmastra One: Shiva’.
