Telugu actor-producer Lakshmi Manchu to host a fashion show in Hyderabad. It will raise funds for children's education, and Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani and Saina Nehwal will walk the ramp.

Lakshmi Manchu is an Indian actress, producer, and television presenter. She works in Telugu cinema and works in American television also. She will host the eighth edition of her annual fundraiser fashion show in Hyderabad, On February 19. The profits from the fundraiser show will go directly to her NGO, Teach for Change. The NGO works for the education of underprivileged children. Many popular actors and sports stars will ramp up a walk-on show, from Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani to badminton players Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap.

Whereas many south stars will cheer them up by sitting in the front row, including Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Ram Charan. Lakshmi Manchu talks about bringing celebrities together from the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada film industries. She says, "It is easier for me to invite them as they know who I am. In Mumbai, I have to introduce myself, which is a [long] process."

Look at the Teach for Change NGO:-

The NGO Teach for Change was founded by Chaitanya MRSK and Lakshmi Manchu in 2014. In the past years, the NGO has worked with 432 government schools. This NGO concentrates on flagship Volunteer programmes, training government teachers, and conveying digital literacy to high-school students.

She says, "We teach English and leadership qualities [to the students]. Every year, we add hundreds of schools to our programme since many government schools are without [adequate] infrastructure. Education is our fundamental right; no child should be left behind." Manchu proposes to expand its operations across India, with prominence on tribal areas.
