Hrithik posted a brief video on his social media accounts announcing the news.
Hrithik Roshan took to Twitter to post a video announcing the film. He wrote the caption, “The past is done. Let’s see what the future brings. #15YearsOfKrrish #Krrish4.” The video featured Hrithik Roshan in his Krrish avatar tossing the iconic mask at the screen, commemorating the film's 15-year anniversary since its 2006 debut.
Krrish 4 has been in the works for a while, and fans have been eagerly anticipating the new instalment. Here's some exciting news for all Krrish lovers. According to recent claims at a news outlet, Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan would start shooting the film shortly. “The preparation on Krrish 4, including casting of the film, will begin in June this year.” The film's main actress is yet unknown.
Hrithik Roshan’s father Rakesh Roshan is the director of the Krrish franchise. Krrish is the second instalment in the franchise. Its precursor, Koi Mil Gaya (2003), set the stage for Rohit Mehra's superhuman talents after befriending an alien called ‘Jaadu’. In the second instalment, his talents are passed down to his son Krishna Mehra, who battles to keep his alter persona Krrish hidden. However, in order to rescue the world, he is compelled to confess his identity.
