As a talented person who can do many things well, Vinod Rawat has an amazing experience that includes roles in many movies, work as a casting director, and teach actors. Notably, he co-directed the first and second seasons of Sushmita Sen's OTT debut show 'Aarya' with Sandeep Modi. Vinod talked about many parts of his work and life in a recent interview with Hindustan Times.

Speaking about Rajkummar Rao's role in 'Pushtaini,' Vinod made a joke by saying that Rajkummar asked for a few warm hugs as payment instead of money. Vinod said that he thought OTT platforms would be a better fit for the film's release because it deals with sensitive topics and there might be issues with how people will react to it.
When asked why he wasn't in the third season of 'Aarya,' Vinod said it was because he had to work on other projects to make money. Vinod talked about his love of learning and the important lessons he learned, especially from working on film sets with Hrithik Roshan and Ram Madhavani in the beginning of his time on the show. He talked about how he helped make scenes more interesting and tried out new ways to shoot them.
Vinod said that Sushmita Sen was the perfect example of control and praised her strong values and ability to be on time. He stressed how important she is as an influencer beyond acting and said she has an amazing focus and drive. Vinod said that having Hrithik Roshan as his acting teacher for eight years has been a rewarding experience. He praised Hrithik's hard work and love for both acting and movies.

When talking about his movie 'Pushtaini,' which was filmed in the village where his ancestors lived in Uttarakhand, Vinod said that the story had personal connections for him, listing things from his own life like the theme of migration and family relationships. He talked about including his sister, his grandmother, and his brother-in-law in the movie.
