Buzz has it that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding, which was scheduled to take place this week, has been postponed by one week due to security concerns. Yes, you read that absolutely right!
The two were set to walk down the aisle on 14th April in Mumbai. However, Bhatt’s half-brother, Rahul Bhatt, has informed a leading daily that there is no wedding on April 13 or 14.
“The wedding is happening; it is known to all. But there is no wedding on April 13 or 14. That is a sure thing. Actually, the dates earlier were the same, but after the information was leaked to the media, the dates were changed. Everything has changed because there is a lot of pressure. I give my word that there is no wedding on April 13 or 14. As far as I know, there will be an announcement regarding the date soon,” he told the daily.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are set to tie the nuptial knot at Kapoor’s family home in Chembur. Right after their wedding, the couple is expected to resume work on their respective projects. They will soon be seen together in Dharma Productions’ Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji.
