With his portrayal of a villain in the film Shamshera (2022), Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt is set to amaze his fans. Ranbir Kapoor plays the lead in the film, which features a clash between Ranbir's character Shamshera and Sanjay Dutt's ruthless Shuddh Singh.

The star cast has been actively promoting the film since it began production in 2020. The film industry received a variety of unfavourable news throughout that same year. Sanjay was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. When the actor was diagnosed, he was in the middle of filming for Shamshera, but the film's director, Karan Malhotra, claims he kept it a secret. R. Madhavan wrote a touching letter for Sanjay in honour of the film's release today, referring to him as a "warrior."

Shamshera is billed as a fast-paced thriller that takes place in India's rural heartland. The fictional city of Kaza is the setting for the narrative of Shamshera, where a brutal authoritarian general named Shuddh Singh imprisons, enslaves, and tortures a warrior tribe. Shamshera, on the other hand, comes to their rescue and ferociously battles for the liberty and honour of his people.
