Priyanka Chopra is now quite busy promoting her new spy thriller series 'Citadel.' The world figure remembered an instance in which a character stuck by her. She discussed entering a role and then waking up while speaking to a news website. She related a humorous incident about being reprimanded for acting in character while they were talking about it. The actress went in-depth with the 'Aitraaz' role of Sonia, which she carried with her even after the film, in order to deliver a strong performance. PC shares how uncomfortable it was for her when she started acting like Sonia in real life.

Since her first movie came out in 2004, Priyanka has been making an impression on the public. Her breakthrough performance in her third Bollywood film, 'Aitraaz,' won her praise from the critics the same year. Everyone was impressed by the strong character that Priyanka played in the romantic suspense film. She even began acting like her 'Aitraaz' character Sonia after the movie because the part had such a deep emotional impact on her. Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor played the leading parts in the Abbas-Mustan directed film alongside PC.

Priyanka Chopra explained that she gets into the character because she is a systematic performer in a recent interview with Film Companion. The actor remembered how, like Sonia, she used to move slowly, speak slowly, pick up coffee, and appear slowly. Her mother Madhu Chopra became aware of this and reprimanded her, telling her to calm down when she got home. Her mother even recorded her acting out so she could see how she really behaved, and she felt ashamed. She was nervous and young at the time, the actress says. She realised how important the role was and how important it was for her to get it right. Priyanka added that she collaborated with Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has a tremendous slate of future projects, so that's good news for her career. In addition to 'Citadel,' which will be available on Amazon Prime Video starting on 28 April 2023. She has the May release of the love story 'Love Again.' Additionally, she is working on a Bollywood film. In Farhan Akhtar's 'Jee Le Zaraa,' she will appear on film alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. The actress recently revealed Heads of State with John Cena and Idris Elba.
