In a recent interview, actress Priyanka Chopra delved into the profound impact of motherhood on her life, revealing that it has rendered her more vulnerable. She expressed concerns about self-sabotage, stating, "Motherhood has made me a lot more fragile. I feel like I have to remind myself that I’m a confident person and I can do this."
Emphasizing the importance of fostering self-assurance in children, Chopra drew from her upbringing, highlighting how her parents instilled in her a strong sense of self. She shared, "My parents did that with me, teaching me a sense of self. I was always told to voice my opinion."
Chopra, who tied the knot with singer Nick Jonas in 2018, welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, through surrogacy in January 2022. Malti was born prematurely and spent 100 days in the NICU before finally going home with her parents. Priyanka and Nick initially shielded their daughter's face from the public until their first appearance with her at an event. Earlier this year, the couple visited India with Malti, marking her first trip to Priyanka's homeland.
Chopra is set to appear in the upcoming film 'Head Of State' alongside John Cena and Idris Elba.
