Prabhas is undoubtedly a force to reckon with. The thunderous success of Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017), helped him emerge as a pan-India star with a massive fan-following not only in southern states but across the country.
The 41-year-old presently has a number of high-profile films in his pocket. Some of his upcoming films include Radhe Shyam, Adipurush and Salaar. All of them are pan-India projects, set to release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Just like the scale of his forthcoming films, Prabhas’ remuneration has also seen an uptick over the past few years. The actor reportedly charges approximately ₹100 crore for each of the films. But from what we hear now is that he has hiked his fees once again.
According to reports, Prabhas has sought a whopping remuneration of ₹150 crore for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next directorial venture, titled Spirit. Interestingly, the makers did not raise an eyebrow and have agreed to play what the actor has demanded.
If the news is true, Prabhas has become the highest-paid actor in India, leaving several Bollywood biggies far behind in terms of fees. It appears to be that he is now charging higher than Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan.
Prabhas next will be seen in Radha Krishna Kumar’s Radhe Shyam. Also starring Pooja Hegde in the lead role, the film is currently due on January 14, 2022. The actor will follow Radhe Shyam with T-Series Films’ mega-budgeted mythological drama Adipurush with Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh. The film is set to arrive on August 11, 2022.
