The news of KK passing away has left the entire nation heart broken and extremely sad. The music industry has once again lost a legendary artist. KK lost his life at the age of 53 on May 31 due to cardiac arrest. The singer who gave classic hits like Pal, Khuda Jaane, Dil Ibaadat among others is no more with us and the admirers of his work are still trying process this fact.
Reportedly, the singer was at a concert in Kolkata and fell sick while performing at Nazrul Manch in Kolkata. He was soon rushed to a private hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Shattered by the news, PM Narendra Modi too expressed his condolences over KK’s untimely demise. He tweeted, “Saddened by the untimely demise of noted singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK. His songs reflected a wide range of emotions as struck a chord with people of all age groups. We will always remember him through his songs. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti.”

According to reports, K K fell ill after performing one of his songs and he went to his hotel where his condition worsened. Soon he was rushed to Kolkata’s CMRI Hospital around 10 pm, where he was declared dead. The talented singer has left behind his wife and children.
