With his hugely successful film ‘Pathaan’ earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan demonstrated why he is considered Bollywood's superstar. The film ended up being the biggest release of the year, with SRK playing an R&AW agent and Deepika Padukone as an ISI spy. Although the film performed very well both domestically and internationally, former R&AW chairman Vikram Sood recently criticized the movie for not being "realistic."

In addition to SRK and DP, John Abraham played a former R&AW agent in the film, which also starred Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia. The Siddharth Anand-starring film played in theatres for more than a hundred days.

A video of former R&AW chairman Vikram Sood discussing Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan when he was on ‘The Ranveer Show’ is currently trending on Reddit. In an interview, Sood was heard discussing his reasons for not seeing Pathaan and outlining specifics of the film that he thought were implausible.

I don't think we have the art to achieve this, he replied. They have room to improve. These can be realistic, but they're not. Vikram Sood said, "You are trying to make a James Bond movie, which is also not realistic," when asked what he found "not realistic" in Pathaan. Then there is the tale of the ISI girl and the R&AW man having a happy ending.Yaar, take a break.”

He continued by saying, "I haven't seen Pathaan and I won't see it because I don't think it is worth my time, so I won't waste it watching it." It is not a true representation. Why waste time on me?
