Even though people didn't like it, the creators went ahead and put out the original song, which is now being talked about for all the wrong reasons. Soon after the song came out, a Twitter account with the username "Whoaml" claimed to be Arijit Singh's account and sent out tweets. Even though it's not clear if the account really belongs to Arijit Singh, many people think it does because it's followed by famous people and has a large number of followers.

He asked users to not be bias and save music.

He also tweeted saying makers should understand what's needed and what's not.

That account talked about few decision to sing the version and how much he liked the original singer, Ali Sethi, in the supposed tweets. He said he wished that Sethi could have been a part of the version or even sung the song for the movie. Arijit Singh also said that the producers had promised to give him money every year for a school for poor kids, which made him decide to take the job. He said that the school fund was so important that he was ready to take blame for it.

When a user asked why the cross part from the original song wasn't in the remake, Arijit Singh's alleged account said that he did it live because he loved it, but the people who made the remake had different goals. He also said that these things should be talked about, because it's sad when songs are changed for no good reason.
