The trailer of Karan Johar's upcoming film Jug Jugg Jeeyo is finally out. While the audience is showering love on the theatrical trailer, it has also caused controversy since its release. In the trailer of the film, we can see the song ‘Naach Panjaban’.
The peppy song has been on people's lips since the release of the trailer. But won’t you be surprised to know that it is not an original creation? It is true that the song is a few years old, and was sung by Pakistani singer Abrar-ul-Haq. The song ‘Naach Punjaban’ in Jug Jugg Jeeyo, made under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, is a copy version of the Pakistani song.
Now Pakistani singer Abrar-ul-Haq has raised his voice against it. He has lashed out at Karan Johar and Dharma Productions
on social media for stealing his song without prior approval. Singer took to his Twitter handle and said that he would go to court. He tweeted, “I have not sold my song “Nach Punjaban” to any Indian movie and reserve the right to go to court to claim damages. Producers like karanjohar should not use copy songs. This is my 6th song being copied which will not be allowed at all. DharmaMovies karanjohar.” The singer commented that the song was not permitted to anyone and asked to produce an agreement if anyone is claiming it.
