Sajal Aly is a talented Pakistani actress. She made her Bollywood debut in 2017 with the film 'Mom', co-starring Sridevi as her mother. Following Sajal's debut in Bollywood, tensions between the two countries escalated, and Pakistani performers were barred from appearing in Hindi films. In a recent interview, Sajal Aly discussed working in Bollywood, the affection she received while working there, and Sridevi. Sajal recalls the late actress and her loving recollections of her.

In Mom, everyone loved Sajal Aly and Sridevi's on-screen chemistry. Sajal is also in contact with Janhvi Kapoor, whom she met while filming Mom with Sridevi. Sajal says she was close to Sridevi and believes the renowned actress died far too young. Sridevi died in 2018 due to unforeseeable circumstances. Sajal believes it is regrettable that the artists must suffer as a result of political tensions between the two countries.

She claims that Sridevi was very close to her and that they did not simply work together. Sajal recalls Sridevi meeting her mother when they visited India. Sajal’s mother died before the film ‘Mom’ was released. Sridevi died a few months later. Sajal describes how they would converse on the phone for hours and the seasoned actress would guide her as a mother would. "I really miss her," Sajal tells the online entertainment portal. Sajal Aly has made waves in the news for discussing her relationship with Sridevi.

Although the actor has left the Hindi film industry, she has maintained her relationship. She accomplished this by collaborating with Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and actor Shabana Azmi on her first international film, ‘What's Love Got to Do with It?’, which examines cross-cultural issues through the lens of arranged marriage in the age of Tinder.

Sajal On Working In India

Sajal claims she has been discussing working in India for a long time. Politics, according to the actress, should not come between art and artists. "I hope that yeh deewar jo India aur Pakistan ke beech mein hai khatam ho," she says.
