In recent years, OTT platforms have made sure that fans have something new to watch every weekend. We had to assemble all of the shows and movies that are going to be your go-to throughout this Diwali season because the forthcoming Diwali long weekend promises plenty of time to catch up with the most recent releases. The entertainment on OTT platforms to keep you occupied ranges from the freshly released Brahmastra making its OTT debut to the third season of Four More Shots Please!

This weekend sees the release of several Indian online series.

1.‘Tripling’ Season 3

The focus of this lighthearted family drama, which also stars Sumeet Vyas, Maanvi Gagroo, Amol Parashar, Kumud Mishra, Shernaz Patel, and Kunal Roy Kapur, is how children deal with their parents' divorce. This season, the siblings' equally quirky parents accompany them on a variety of smaller family outings as they struggle with the prospect of losing both their home and their family.

Released on Zee5 on October 21.

2. ‘Four More Shots Please’ Season 3

The third season of the daytime Emmy-nominated programme features a highly glitzy cast that includes Kriti Kulhari, Sayani Gupta, Bani J, Maanvi Gagroo, and Jim Sarbh. Not only have the personalities changed this season, but we also know that one of the squad's original members won't be coming back. I suppose all we can do is wait and see!

Released on Amazon Prime Video on October 21.

3. ‘Bigg Boss’ Season 16

With a "Upside Down" theme for this episode, Salman Khan's reality series has entered its 16th season. While the circus-themed participants' home has already been seen by viewers, the show has also drawn criticism for featuring #MeToo accuser Sajid Khan.

This weekend's release of new Indian films on OTT Platform

1.‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’

The Ayan Mukerji-directed epic is scheduled to premiere this upcoming Diwali weekend on OTT. It would be intriguing to see the blockbuster's run on a digital platform as well as in theatres all around the world.

Released on Disney + Hotstar on October 23.

2. ‘Ammu’

This movie, which stars Aishwarya Lekshmi as a domestic violence survivor, centres on how she overcomes her unfathomable, life-altering trauma. The movie, directed by Charukesh Sekar, also features Bobby Simha and Naveen Chandra.

Released on Amazon Prime Video on the specified date.

Which of them are you most looking forward to seeing?
