On her relationship with Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday says, “I call us Tom and Jerry because we fight a lot.”

Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi co - starred in the newly released and much-discussed film Gehraiyaan (2022). The two young actors will reunite in Zoya Akhtar's forthcoming flick Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. Ananya talked about her friendship with the actor and whether she's looking forward to working with him again in a recent interview with a renowned news agency.

Ananya revealed to ETimes that their bond is similar to that of 'Tom and Jerry.' She remarked of sharing the screen and their relationship in Gehraiyaan, “It was amazing. Sid, and I are good friends. I call us Tom and Jerry because we fight a lot. But then we also love each other a lot. He’s a great actor, there was so much that I could just learn from him. I think the fact that we’re such good friends also helps our chemistry in our scenes. I’m doing one more film with him, and I’m really excited to be back on set with him.”

In Gehraiyaan, the two acted as an on-screen couple, with Siddhant's character Zain subsequently falling in love with Alisha (played by Deepika Padukone), who is Ananya's character Tia's cousin. In Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Siddhant and Ananya will once again share the screen space. Arjun Varain Singh will helm the film, which will also star Adarsh Gourav of The White Tiger (2021). It's presently begun shooting.
