At the moment, the actress was with her husband. A video of the car crash has gone viral on social media, with a Swiss couple confirmed deceased after their high-end vehicle caught fire after the accident. Gayatri confirmed to the news portal Free Press Journal that she and her husband are fine.
Gayatri Joshi and her husband Vikas Oberoi are currently in Italy and were involved in a near-fatal car accident in Sardinia. Their vehicle was involved in a multi-car accident and collided with several vehicles, including a camper car. A video that has gone popular on social media shows two high-end automobiles, a Lamborghini and a Ferrari, attempting to overtake a campervan at the same time, which resulted in the crash.

The Ferrari caught fire, killing two elderly Swiss passengers, according to reports. Confirming the story of the automobile crash, Gayatri spoke to Free Press Journal and claimed that their car met with an accident but she along with her husband were happily, 'totally well'. According to the news agency, the incident occurred during the Sardinia Supercar Tour, which was part of a luxury car parade from Teulada to Olbia.
