Once upon a time, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was known for her sass and drama, made news when she quit films after filming had already begun. One of these times was when she quit her first movie, ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai,’ after working with Hrithik Roshan for a week. In a similar way, she left ‘Love Story 2050,’ Harman Baweja's first movie, after only a week of filming.

The science fiction movie ‘Love Story 2050’ was being made on a huge budget, and Harman's father, Harry Baweja, wanted the best for his son. Kareena Kapoor Khan was thought to be the best actress in the business at the time. Reports say that Kareena was signed for a huge sum of 2.25 crores, and some sources say that she was paid even more. She left the movie, though, for reasons only she knew. This gave Priyanka Chopra the chance to take her place.

Harman Baweja talked about Kareena's departure and praised Priyanka Chopra in an interview. He said, "She shot with me for a couple of days. But I don't think any other actor could have done it as well as Priyanka has." Harry Baweja also talked about the change in hiring. He said that after Kareena Kapoor Khan left, they picked Priyanka Chopra because of who she is, how available she is, how professional she is, and how much she wanted to be in the movie from the start. Priyanka was hired at the price she was worth on the market.

‘Love Story 2050’ didn't do well at the box office, but Kareena Kapoor Khan did well with films like ‘Omkara,’ ‘Don,’ ‘Chup Chup Ke’ in 2006, and ‘Jab We Met’ in 2007. Her recent success made her price per movie rise to 3.5 crores.

People talked about how Kareena's choice to leave the movie was similar to how she left ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ with Hrithik Roshan. Some people thought she was afraid of being overshadowed in the second movie. But while her choice didn't work out with Hrithik, it seems like she got lucky with Harman's movie ‘Love Story 2050,’ which was one of the biggest flops in Hindi film history. This adds to the interesting story of Kareena Kapoor Khan's career, which has been full of bold decisions, wins, and even some scandals.
