Recently, Anushka trotted to England for shooting the film ‘Chakda 'Xpress’. She has resumed her training for this OTT release. Anushka often shared insights into her life through her social media with fans. She recently shared a glimpse of behind-the-scenes training. she captioned it, "Training begins #chakdaxpress”. The film will mark the actor's comeback after giving birth to her daughter Valmiki. When announcing the film in January Anushka wrote, “Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport. This film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped her life and also women’s cricket.”
The film will see Anushka Sharma essaying the role of the Indian Cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The film helmed by Prosit Roy and backed by Karnesh Sharma's Clean Slate Filmz will release soon on Netflix.
