On the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a significant step toward women's empowerment. The Honourable Prime Minister of India has tabled the ‘Naari Shakti Vandan bill’, which will reserve 33%, or one-third, of the seats in the parliament and state legislatures across the country for women. Kangana Ranaut and Esha Gupta, who were called to the New Parliament House to discuss the Women's Reservation Bill, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his initiative.

Esha Gupta, the ‘Aashram’ actress, was spotted wearing a saree. She was visibly thrilled about the inaugural session of the new parliament. The actress conveyed her feelings, calling PM Modi's decision "a beautiful thing." Esha Gupta described it as a progressive notion and added that she had considered entering politics since she was a child. The ‘Raaz Reboot’ actress also makes the startling claim that if the measure is passed, people may see her in politics as early as 2026.

Kangana Ranaut hails PM Narendra Modi:

Kangana spoke about how the first session of the new parliament was devoted to empowering women. She attributes the entire event to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kangana Ranaut discussed how, after Modi's win, she has witnessed shifts in which women have taken on significant roles.

She also discussed her upcoming film ‘Tejas’. She refers to this period as the "New Age." When asked if this development will motivate her to enter the world of politics, the actress believes it is very encouraging for women to pursue a career in politics, which is heavily controlled by men.

Kangana also spoke on the difficulties that women and young girls face. The ‘Emergency’ actress believes that the country urgently requires a reservation for women in politics. Kangana termed it a historic day not just for women in the country, but for the entire country.

The Women's Reservation Bill was introduced in Parliament for the first time in 1996. It was approved by the Rajya Sabha in 2010, however it expired when it was not passed by the Lok Sabha. Only after the delimitation process will the reservation take effect.
