Nargis Fakhri wants to do a 'Charlie's Angels' style action flick with Deepika & Katrina!

All set to make her comeback to Hindi films after three years, Nargis Fakhri is excited about her new innings. Looking forward to the release of her next Hindi film titled 'Shiv Shastri Balboa', Nargis believes that this is the perfect time to be in showbiz. Reason being different kinds of movies and shows are being made now.

And with OTT platforms galore, there are opportunities for all kinds of actors.

Nargis Fakhri's next 'Shiv Shastri Balboa' is set in the US

In 'Shiv Shastri Balboa', Nargis is sharing screen space with two veteran actors Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta. Set in the USA, Nargis claims the films is as real as it can get.

“The story of the film isn't set in Manhattan or Los Angeles, but in the small cities where the real people live.”

With this film, Nargis hopes that exciting offers come her way.

It's been three years since Fakhri's last film 'Torbaaz' (2020) released. Looking back, the actress reflects on her mistakes but is cheerful that she has only learnt from them.

"I used to get so many scripts (earlier). But your agency puts you out in a certain way. They wanted me to work only with so-and-so producers. Sometimes, you may feel a script is amazing but don’t have a say in what you do," she said.

"It was difficult to adjust to it, but I trusted them because I didn’t know anything about the business,” added Nargis.

Looking ahead, Fakhri has vowed to follow her heart and do films that excite her. When told how her contemporaries like Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are matching upto their male counterparts, Nargis excitedly says "We three should do a Charlie's Angles."

"I would love to see women doing action. That will help me push my boundaries as an actor. If anything interesting comes my way, I will surely do it," Nargis concluded.
