Akshay Kumar has finally reacted to claims that he doesn't commit to a film because he takes on three to four movies annually.

One of the most respected and admired actors in Indian cinema, Akshay Kumar is renowned for his work ethics and discipline. The actor continues to work on four or more films annually, and his film career has been inspirational. He has nearly a dozen future projects, making him the busiest actor in B-Town. In anticipation for its premiere next week, the actor is actively promoting his film Raksha Bandhan.

However, Akshay’s last film Samrat Prithviraj (2022) at the box office and the audience called him out for the lack of commitment towards his movies. In a recent interview, Khiladi Kumar has addressed the same and said, “I spend only 8 hours on a film set in the day, but I don’t spend a single minute of those 8 hours in a vanity van. I am always standing on the floor of the movie set. My 8 hours are equal to 14-15 hours of any other star. That’s my commitment to the movies.”

He further added that people are troubled by the lack of significant box office results and think that things need to change. The Samrat Prithviraj (2022) actor claimed that throughout his career, particularly in the beginning, he had received advice to put in less work. The actor explained how he works only half a day on Saturdays and doesn't work on Sundays, giving him the most holidays of any person in the film industry.
