The 'Music school' is written and produced by debut director Papa Rao Biyyala, an ex-IAS officer. His niece Yamini will co-produce the film under the banner of Yamini Films. Dil Rajiu will distribute the Telugu film version under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film has a collaborative cast of Shriya, Sharman Joshi, Prakash Raj, Suhasini Mulay, Benjamin Gilani, Mona Ambegaonkar and Brahmanandam.
The movie is trilingual and is currently available in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Singer Shaan will mark his acting debut with 'Music School'. The movie is advertised as a musical with a student-focused setting. There are 11 songs on the Original Soundtrack for the movie, all written by Ilaiyaraaja.

The movie will also include a couple songs from the renowned, Oscar-winning musical 'The Sound of Music' (1965). ‘Music School’ is shot by seasoned cinematographer Kiran Deohans, and Manan Sagar served as the movie's editor. The movie is scheduled to release on May 12.
