On November 20, Sunday, Rajkumar Hirani, one of the best directors in Indian cinema, will be 60. The senior filmmaker is scheduled to release a significant update on his eagerly anticipated future project, Dunki, on the auspicious occasion. The movie, which is his sixth effort as a director, sees Rajkumar Hirani teaming up with superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Mission Kashmir, a movie that was released in 2000, served as the acclaimed filmmaker's debut in the business. Later, in 2003, he made his debut as a filmmaker with the classic movie Munna Bhai MBBS.

Munna Bhai MBBS


Sanjay Dutt, a senior actor, plays the title character in the satirical comedy-drama, which was released in theatres in December 2003. In the film, Murli Prasad Sharma, also known as Munna Bhai, continues his extortion business but is ultimately compelled to enrol in Dr. Jagdish Asthana's medical college in order to obtain a medical degree. Fans of the movies still like Sanjay Dutta and Arshad Warsi's amazing chemistry as Circuit and Munna Bhai, respectively. Lage Raho Munna Bhai


In 2006, Munna Bhai and Circuit returned with the release of Lage Raho Munna Bhai, the follow-up to Munna Bhai MBBS. After a lengthy 5-year hiatus, Rajkumar Hirani's fourth film as a filmmaker, PK, was released in 2014. The Mr. Perfectionist played the titular extraterrestrial in the film, which was his second collaboration with Aamir Khan. The satirical comedy-drama, which starred Anushka Sharma and the late Sushant Singh Rajput, received a tonne of praise from viewers for its superb writing and production. Both Sony LIV and Netflix are presently streaming the popular film.

Sanju

Sanju, the hitmaker's autobiographical drama based on the life of Munna Bhai actor Sanjay Dutt, was released in 2018. Ranbir Kapoor, a gifted actor, played Dutt in the film. Manisha Koirala played Sanjay Dutt's mother, the illustrious actress Nargis Dutt, and Paresh Rawal played his father, Sunil Dutt. In supporting parts, the movie featured Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Jim Sarbh, Boman Irani, Anushka Sharma, and others. Sanju, which also turned out to be a huge hit, is currently streaming on Netflix.

The comedy-drama Ferrari Ki Sawaari, which was made by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, a regular collaborator of Rajkumar Hirani's, required him to once again don the editor's hat despite his success as a major filmmaker. Saala Khadoos, the Sudha Kongara-directed sports drama starring R Madhavan, was also produced by Rajkumar Hirani.
