The release of Ayan Mukherjee's Brahmastra, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the major roles, is just a few days away. On September 9, the movie that has been in production for a while will finally be seen by the world. The movie's songs, characters, and cinematic approach have made it popular on social media. And ever since Shah Rukh Khan’s photos from Brahmastra leaked online, there has been speculation that the actor is playing a special role of Vanarastra in Ayan Mukerji’s film. While the film's creators have kept quiet about his appearance, actress Mouni Roy, who plays the villain, has revealed the same.

Mouni casually brought up Shah Rukh Khan's name in a recent interview while talking about her work experience with Brahmastra co-stars. She said, “When you are working with Ranbir, Alia, Bachchan sir, Nagarjuna sir, Shah Rukh sir has also played a guest appearance in it.”

When Mouni began working on Brahmastra years ago, she was initially asked to make a special appearance. The actress then added, “I came on board as a special appearance to it becoming a lengthier role, to me becoming the antagonist and the main villain in the film. It’s one of the most challenging roles that I have ever played.”

On September 9, Brahmastra: Part One: Shiva will be available in theatres in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The movie is helmed by Ayan Mukerji. The movie is being presented in all four languages by director SS Rajamouli. The cast also includes Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy. Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures are the producers of the movie. Brahmastra is meant to be the first installment in a trilogy that is part of the Astraverse, a cinematic universe.
