‘Merry Christmas’, directed by Sriram Raghavan and starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, is slated for release on December 15, 2023. On July 17th, the announcement was made. However, Yodha, starring Sidharth Malhotra, will compete with the movie in theaters. Additionally, the conflict has angered movie producer Karan Johar, who has expressed his disgust.

Karan Johar claimed on Instagram Threads that producers and studios ought to have shown politeness and called attention to the conflicting dates. “Clashing on a date without the courtesy of a phone call is hopefully not the way forward for the studios and producers …. If we don’t stand united in these tough and challenging theatrical days then calling us a fraternity is futile," Karan Johar wrote.
‘Yodha's introduction was announced on social media earlier this month. Earlier this month, he made the release date known. “Re-fueled and ready to soar! #YODHA - the first action film of the franchise headlined by Sidharth Malhotra and directed by debutant duo Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha - lands in cinemas on 15th DECEMBER, 2023. The film also stars Disha Patani & Raashii Khanna in lead roles,” the production house wrote on social media.
‘Merry Christmas’ was filmed simultaneously in two different languages. The same parts are played by Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in the Tamil version as they are played by Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand in the Hindi version. Fans all over the world will undoubtedly be even more anticipatory as a result. Pari, a young actor, is also introduced in the movie. Exciting cameo appearances are made by Ashwini Kalsekar and Radhika Apte.
‘Merry Christmas’, which is produced by Ramesh and Jaya Taurani, Sanjay Routray, and Kewal Garg, combines the ideas and skills of two production companies, Tips Films and Matchbox Pictures.
Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani are the stars of ‘Yodha’. Sagar Amre and Pushkar Ojha are making their directorial debuts with this movie.
