While Kiara Advani called for'severe punishment' against those responsible for the assault against women in Manipur, Akshay Kumar said he is'shaken' and 'disgusted' by it.
Through their tweets, celebrities like Sonu Sood and Renuka Shahane criticized the violence's 'inhuman' nature.

The incident in the Kangpokpi district is listed as having occurred on May 4 in a police complaint. But on June 21, the FIR was filed in the Thoubal district.
Unknown persons are accused of murder, gang rape, and kidnapping. "All three women were physically forced to remove their clothes and were stripped naked in front of the mob," the FIR stated.
The accusation claims that after killing one guy, the mob made two ladies strip off their clothes. A 19-year-old woman was allegedly subjected to gang sexual assault; when her brother attempted to stop it, he was slain. The women then made their getaway.
