In an honest interview, Prakash Kaur, who was Dharmendra's first wife, talked about his image as a womaniser and how he met Hema Malini. Even though Dharmendra was married to Prakash Kaur and they had four children together, he fell in love with Hema Malini and chose to split up with her without getting a divorce. Dharmendra became a Muslim so he could get married to Hema Malini. Prakash Kaur, who usually avoided the media, gave an interview to talk about how she felt about what was going on.

During her interview, Prakash Kaur stood up for her husband and criticised the culture of the film business, which seemed to support having two wives. She said that any guy would pick Hema over her, and she asked why Dharmendra was called a womaniser. She also said that the business was to blame because a lot of heroes have affairs and get married a second time.

Prakash Kaur also said that Dharmendra's father didn't like Bollywood and never wanted his son to be an actress. "My father-in-law, too, is against the film stars. I know his own son is an actor but Babuji never wanted him to be one. If Babuji could have his way, he would see to it that the whole film industry is wiped off,” said Prakash Kaur.

Despite the situation, Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur are still friendly, as shown by the fact that they both showed up at an event with actor Mumtaz in 2021. Dharmendra will play Ranveer Singh's grandpa in Karan Johar's movie 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,' which will be released this year.
