Raabta (2017), starring Kriti Sanon and the late Sushant Singh Rajput, turns five today. Sanon shared a special video on social media to commemorate the film's five-year anniversary. It included her humming the film's title music. She also mentioned her late co-star Sushant Singh Rajput in her post.
Dinesh Vijan, who is also one of the film's producers, directed Raabta, which was released in 2017. On June 14, 2020, Sushant passed away. Kriti and Sushant never confirmed their relationship, however, the two were rumored to be dating while filming the project.
The Mimi (2021) actress shared the video of herself singing the film’s title track. She recalled shooting for the film with her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput. She also penned a special tribute to her late co-star.
Her caption read, “This one was special in many ways… a film full of memories… A journey close to my heart… And I’m glad to have walked it with the two of you: Sushant and Dinoo. #5YearsOfRaabta. P.S. Excuse the singing, emotions are pure (sic)."
Maddock Films and T-Series jointly backed the project. Despite the fact that the film did not perform well at the box office, Rajput and Sanon's onscreen chemistry was the talk of the town.
