Sukhbir Singh, the 'Prince of Bhangra' of Punjabi music, has reworked his well-known song 'O Balle Balle' for the upcoming Salman Khan film 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.' The singer revealed that the Bollywood superstar himself had the idea to remake the song.
Salman Khan received two options from Sukhbir, and he adored them both. The first was the freshly released song 'Billi Billi Akh,' and the second was a cover of the song 'Dil Kare' by Sukhbir. Salman, however, insisted on using 'O Balle Balle' for his movie.
The singer spoke, “Salman wanted me to make a new song altogether but by using both the songs and that’s how the new remake of ‘O Balle Balle’ was created.”
Sukhbir sang the song, and he also wrote its music and lyrics, which were written by Kumaar. It's interesting to note that Salman, the son of renowned screenwriter Salim Khan, collaborated on the song's additional lyrics with Sukhbir. Thumping Punjabi beats and upbeat, appealing lyrics are combined in this song.

Singer shared his experience working with Salman Khan on this song, “I sang this song originally in Punjabi, but the remake version has given me equal joy. It was very important for me to incorporate Punjabi beats in the most authentic form to match the lyrics and the vibe of the song. At the same time, I was amazed to see how Salman was hands-on at every stage of the film when he started writing the two new verses for the remake song”.
He mentioned, “It was a surprise for me and I loved it… So I decided to keep them in the additional changes to the song. It’s an experience of a lifetime and an unforgettable memory to do teamwork with Salman on this film. I thoroughly enjoyed every part of the work.”
