Audiences have shown a preference for accessing material through OTT platforms rather than conventional movie theatres as the pandemic continues to have an impact on the economy. Producers have faced difficult hurdles as a result of this transformation, thus Nadiadwala decided to hold off on starting 'Kick 2'.until the movie going culture had recovered.
Evidently, Nadiadwala has already written the script for the eagerly awaited sequel and has even sent Salman Khan himself a copy of the narration. His main objective is to rekindle fan enthusiasm for theatrical releases, which will create a buzz that will make it easier to plan the development of 'Kick 2.' In light of the current uncertainty, Nadiadwala emphasised the importance of a memorable cinematic experience to get consumers back into theatres.
