KGF Chapter 2 gets U/A certificate; advance booking starts from April 7
Hold your breath- there’s an update regarding Kannada star Yash’s eagerly awaited movie KGF: Chapter 2. The makers of the film have completed the censorship formalities and have also zeroed in the runtime for it. The movie has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a U/A certificate.
The total theatrical runtime of KGF Chapter 2 is 2 hours 48 minutes (168 minutes). Noteworthy, the first part, i.e, KGF: Chapter 1, had a running time of 1 hour 55 minutes.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, the action drama has been produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films.
Recently, the first single from the film titled Toofan was released, which garnered a huge response from the fans. The enthralling song shattered all the records on the internet, getting over 26 million views in just 24-hours of its release. The trailer of KGF Chapter 2, recently released in many languages, has also hit over 100 million views on YouTube.
Apart from Kannada heartthrob Yash, KGF: Chapter 2 stars Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead. It also features Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Malvika Avinash, Achyuth Kumar, Ayyappa P Sharma, Rao Ramesh and Eshwari Rao, among others in important roles.
The multi-talented actor Yash has also penned dialogues for the film. This was also confirmed by director Prashanth Neel in a recent interview.
Noteworthy, the Hindu version of KGF Chapter 2 will be presented by Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment and AA Films. The film is all set to release on April 14 in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages.
